Sometimes, horses fight too hard to get to the lead and that was the case in the Wednesday night $8,200 pacing feature at Buffalo Raceway. Missevil took the lead and when passed, fought to reclaim. Even though the fractions were relatively soft on the wet track, she was softened up enough. Missevil led at the quarter (30.0), half (59.4) and three-quarters (1:29.2), but by then, she was ripe to be overtaken. In the stretch, Susie’s Delight prevailed with Deliciously Naughty second with Missevil third.
There is live racing at Buffalo Raceway on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
